February 23, 2010. Photo I
Today is a work-day. The usual amount of activity permeates the photo lab, darkroom, and various film processing rooms. Occasionally students gather about Prof. Babasiak, waiting patiently to ask for technical expertise and critical interpretations of their photos. The vibe is soothed by soulful jazz.

In addition to being the introductory day of the USD Photo Blog, today is a processing day for prints and film in Photo I. General class activities to begin the class period involve Prof. Banasiak waxing philosophically on assignments past, present, and future. He adds historical references and process tips/tricks, etc. These photos provide a variety of perspectives on the students and physical environment of the Photo room at USD.
